Zion
After grazing next to him for awhile, Drakon had finally wandered off from his side. But even in the silence and solitude, his twin's words still lingered. At first Zion ignored it, but the effort was made in vain. It was too quiet in the Arch, and the peace felt more like a threat being held over their heads.
With a huffed sigh leaving his lips, it blew a few stems of tan grass free to flutter to the ground as he left behind a perfectly good meal for the chilly waters that lapped at the shores of Tinuvel. The swim to the Crossing wasn't as exhilarating as it once was, and he only felt disappointment as he looked across the Commons. The mundane, repeating days of his life had seemingly sucked out the Zion that once prowled these territories, and it was frustrating.
Mood soured even further, the brown stallion left behind what was supposed to be easy pickings, and headed for one of the neutral territories. Perhaps he could find a Peak mare, or even a Lagoon stallion, that would tell him how the other territories had been. If they were as quiet as his own. Instead, he spotted a painted mare making a pathetic attempt to find shelter from the brisk wind. Although he was wet too, Zion was better equipped for the chill than she seemingly was.
Although the Peak scent did not mingle with her own, telling him she wasn't a snotty valkyrie, Zion sauntered over anyways. Even if she had no information to give, perhaps she could at least help him pass the wasted time he was here. "You look completely out of place." He stated, a smirk tugging at his lips with a glint in his green eyes. "I don't suppose I should waste my time fixing that?"
