Hi Jim - Your post and honest review(s) were / are very much appreciated. I’m sincerely glad you and others enjoyed. I’ve often said, without visiting it’s not possible to get a feel for the totality of the experience and I am glad you did.
As is so often the case your fair and honest assessment was hijacked by the same group of individuals who would prefer to see anything other than what “they” perceive to be be “real Jai-Alai” gone in the United States. They prefer rotting and condemned American frontons to anything that does not meet a standard which has not existed in over 20 years.
So I/ we who do the work and continue to listen to the bullshit (any comparison between Magic City and the original Ocala “2 man sham” is just ignorant and, if serious, potentially indicative of either an emerging or fixed thought disorder). While doing the best we can by our players, staff and the sport as it EVOLVES.
I do look forward to a time when I will be able to post freely about the move and the changes we have planned which are now just weeks away. But your positive comments and “concerns” about the announcing were both read and appreciated! Replies:
