To be more than a conqueror

Tino says he would give them some bonding time, but mentions he wants to talk later. Nico glances at him with a nod of his head. "Sure. Ill come find you then." He agrees, but he also doesn't know exactly when he would be free. After spending some precious time with Raini he would need to check on the others.

He needs to anxiously wait Mizuki's birth and go see Pyre. His lead mare has been quiet for awhile now, but she also was soaking up her last moments with Zohara before she left for the Hills. That filly was such a mommy's girl. His attention was back to Raini and their child as they exchange affectionate touches. Raini comments on the child being precious and Nico agrees with a nod of his head. His smile is large as he watches them interact.

Raini comments about her unique color, he nods again. It wasn't a normal color in the Inlet, but he has seen it before. Talei, she says the filly's name as she explains what it means. "Precious she is." He reiterates that he agrees still. It was a beautiful, sweet, name for their lovely new child. Raini begins to look exhausted as she comments about the name being a fit. "I love the name." He says, bumping his muzzle lightly against her cheek.

"You know I have seen a color like hers once before. My sister had a son named Junco when she was leading the Inlet who had a color just like Talei." It had been sad how his story turned out, well, at least as they knew it. Parvati has believed him dead some time ago. Looking more closely at Talei he thinks maybe there was a slightly different hue to her coat, but without seeing Junco for years it was had knowing the difference. "It must come from my mother's side of the family." He realizes Raini has probably never met his mother.

She didn't get out much with her age, but perhaps she has seen her around. "You should both rest. I can find you again once you wake." It was a good ides they get some sleep to really allow Talei to explore once she wakes. He was sure a filly of his would be rearing to go the moment her eyes open. He remembers vividly how energized he was as a child. Always up for an adventure. It drove his brothers crazy watching him. Of course Parvati had always been her own little hellion too so she was in the mix of wild children.
