Re(5): Magic City betting when they move..oopsss

When I to MC for the first time last week, I noticed the entire setup is basically temporary…it’s installed within the current structure and attached to it on the floor and the above structure. It’s done so in a way that most would t even notice. Even the seating is folded chairs and a rollout bleacher section. It certainly does not look bad.

At this point, with them moving to Miami, I can’t fathom that the players who have only played competitively at MC, like Jeden, Bradley, Ben, Juice, Tennessee, El B, CRB and others, would be able to instantly and easily transition to play on a full court with a real pelota. Sure they could do it, and for some it would be no problem, such as Douglas. The majority of the players now are all from full court jai alai anyway, so that change would be pretty standard, I would think.

In my original post, I hinted that the MC setup would be dismantled and relocated to Miami onto that court. Whether they use any of the existing court, or scrap the MC setup all together and just use the full court? Who knows? Actually some do know, but as is often th case in this sport, secrecy abounds. Just have to wait and see. Either way, it’s very, very interesting, for sure.
