Some of the MC players skill will not transfer well to a big court. The small court can hide a lot of deficiencies, but the big court will expose them.

These guys are all supposed to be college athletes so I guess they can learn to play on a big court, but does MC really want to go through another instructional class for these guys.

It's easier to shorten the court for what they already know.
