Re(2): A Juggle not called.

That is interesting that there is not an actual juggling rule in traditional Jai-Alai.

According to this Magic City video, the ball has to stay in contact with the cesta once it enters and stay in contact until it leaves.

"If the ball bobbles inside the cesta, it is called juggling" -Inaki.

That ball definitely bobbles. There is air between it and the cesta when it bounces up from the bottom of the cesta.

According to Magic City's own video, that is juggling. There can be no doubt about it. So, unless the judge is stupid, lazy, nearsighted, biased or insane, they would call it if they saw it.

That the ref did not see it to rule correctly, is what I am bitching about to begin with. Because seeing infractions like that and calling them is a fundamental part of their job. So, if they fail at it, especially at a crucial time, it is frustrating to certain on-edge, high-strung fans who care about such things.

Winning that point may or may not have helped save the game day for the Fireballs from a complete loss. That in turn, may have kept them in playoff contention.
