LUCIFER stallion | 18hhs | black | Faithless Demon
Dark rimmed lips pull at fine strands of foliage. Blunted teeth slowly tug at the pieces, drawing them in before slowly chewing on them. Eyes of a crimson hue slowly blink, long black lashes brushing against a dark stallion's cheeks as he enjoys his meal. The day had been long, calling him this way and that. He had been running since dawn, taking the cooler temperatures of the fall to make his daytime movements easier on his bulky frame. It was now, as the sun began to fall and the moon started its ascent that Lucifer was able to take a break.
Flicking one ear towards the distance, Lucifer listened to the quiet evening. Little birds chirped here and there for the last calls of the day, but nothing else really registered. Yeah he could hear the breathing of his herd faintly as some began to rest and take the weight off their shoulders, but there were a few that were awake. Looking over at them slowly, Lucifer took stock of his herd before a cry that split the air captured his full attention.
Jerking his head in the direction the voice came from, the onyx brute felt something stir deep inside of him. Large ears perked swiftly before his own call echoed through the air. He could hear himself, his call, and then just as quickly his own hooves as they pounded over the sands of his home. Using his large frame and thick muscles to push himself swiftly, Lucifer found himself in a surging force of power as his hooves went from damn near a solid stand still to a run.
Moving over the fine grains of sand, the beast let himself crest a dune with his eyes searching quickly. It did not take long for his gaze to find her. Her white body was like a ghost, its white frame backed by tan sand that was growing darker and darker by the moment as the night crept upon the world. His nostrils quivered as he drew in her scent, but soon enough his neck arched and one large hoof pawed at the air before slamming down into the sand as another resounding call burst from his lips.
Dropping down the dune with sure strides, Lucifer ate the rest of the distance up between them, his nose reaching out for a momentary pause before it was tucked to his chest and his legs lifted with prancing movements of his feet. An emotion the monster did not know coiled through his gut, but he shoved it away as he managed to calm his hooves, his body still tense and amped up as he stared at a woman from his past.
