I think we have all seen Arta on a big court and that is why he is classified as a no. Im assuming you have been following the sport for decades.
In what season, at what fronton, has ARTA ever had at the very least....average numbers?
Like him or not, ARTA has had a phenomical jai alai career in that he has been below average forever....and yet, has played for many many years.
Going back in time, our good friend "Jim" posted time and time again regarding his continued rebote errors. Jim was correct each time.
Arta has always been a filler. He fills out a roster because you simply cant have a complete talented roster.
Arta trivia question: How did Arta receive his first professional contract?
His father...Arta...played several years in Orlando. As a favor to his father, Orlando General Manage/Players Manager signed Arta. No amateur tournament accolades...no championships...just a favor.
That was now a long long time ago. Thumbs up to Arta for making a career in the sport but as to his playing ability on a traditional court, lets say that he will not go into Jesus' Hall of Fame.
In addition, he would not get another contract on a traditional court.
