Thanks once again Jailife16!

Spoilers

It was a close game. Even the first set was closer than the score suggests.

1st set:
Urreisti made more unforced errors than anyone else but he also brought the firepower. Basque played better than I have seen him play in the past but at the end of the set got caught in a few bad positions, making him miss. Barandika played quite well and only made one UE. Additionally, one of his 2-walls was a bit weak and Urreisti countered it mercilessly. Lopez only missed one ball. His court positioning was incredible.

2nd set: The errors really piled up in this set. Basque was the only one playing well. But then he threw a poor attempted shot from mid-court that went out. A short time later he was caught out on the back wall. Lopez made up for an earlier botched shot to the inside with a much better one that scored. Urreisti caught Barandika with a tricky throw right on the side wall. Barandika answered next with a good 2-wall, but lost control of the ball on the following point.

Urreisti made up for a botched shot into the pad with a sweet, short, inside placement. The next exchange saw Urreisti miss a straight forward rebote, but he made up for it with an excellent interception of Barandika's inside shot followed with an effective dejada. Basque then threw it too high. Urreisti got cocky and threw a mid-court 2-wall which was returned hard by Barandika for the point. Then Barandika caught both Urreisti and Lopez out of position with a nice pica along the side wall. Urreisti returned the favor with a tricky pica that snuck up on Basque. Lopez had an uncharacteristic miss in the back. Basque followed with a chula.

It was now 11-14. Urreisti and Lopez only needed one point to win but Urreisti failed making a very tricky fall down rebote near the floor and it was 12-14. Lopez stood up to an absolute barrage but finally one did not come out from the back and it was 13-14! Urreisti tipped one coming right at him in the front. 14-14! Urreisti made up for it with a very good 2-wall to win the match.

I was most impressed with how psychologically supportive Lopez was. What a great partner to have!
