Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

He'd been lazy. Worse yet, he knew it. By all rights, Alioth should most definitely have lost the recent round of elections. Laziness, however, seemed a trend in the tropic land of bachelors. No one had voted, save for Abraxas, who had voted for him by chance. A seashell, really?? The spotted male shook his head at the thought. It was ridiculous really, and yet it was the only reason he was still General. Garmr-- Garmr who had taken him under his wing-- had not even voted for him. The lack of faith from the Boss was a sharp reminder to Alioth that he had real duties here, duties he intended to carry out... starting with the call to action from a new voice in their pack.

The mismarked stallion turned his dark face in the dark, ears twisting toward Acid's approximate location. A heavy breath huff through his nostrils. Without another thought, Alioth darted through the trees. He followed the trail of the dunalino's chase. The thrill of a chase, a flat out run over the rolling Commons was exhilarating, and yet a frown pulled at the corners of his lips as he panted to keep up. The object, he noted, was a trinket: Pandemonium.

Alioth couldn't quite remember which of the trinkets had pared with the men in he last few years. When he'd had a hand in raising his own child, the appaloosa understandably had had less time to observe the relationships of those around him. She'd had at least one child during her tenure, or so he guessed. Having gone through a similar ordeal in recent years, he didn't like the thought of separating mother and child. Yet the law of the islands was clear on the matter: depending on the age of the foal in question, she would have to leave i behind in their care. He wouldn't cave to tears, especially with Garmr party to the band that gave chase.

The General stalked forward, silently letting his presence be known. His dark eyes scanned over those present. Acid, of course; he'd sounded an alarm. Enigma, there was. Garmr, too, but also the Peak's General and another younger mare. All of them. . . here for Pandemonium. He could see the humor, but made no show of it. Dark lips raised to reveal yellowed teeth. Ears pinned back against his poll. Let Garmr make the first move against the Peak. He would back up the sabino and make sure they got the message.

Alioth
