Curse considered his words, he did seem to genuinely care what happened to her, she hadn’t had that in her life much. Actually if she thought of it Asmodeus had been probably the only one in her past to give a damn about her.
She shook her head at his question no, I guess I didn’t she said quietly.
She knew her flaws, she was mouthy and could be very opinionated, add in a quick trigger to anger and she could basically be a bit of a bitch. She had no issues admitting that either, but not everyone could handle that.
However Ashitaka seemed convinced this stallion, Nicodemus would be able to tolerate her. She might not know Ashitaka that well but he did seem like a good sort, maybe she should take a chance on trusting him.
She was quiet for a few moments before nodding okay she said quietly, there was still uncertainty in her but she was choosing to trust him I’ll come with you, see what this Nicodemus is like for myself she said with a slight smile. Taking a step towards him she nodded her head Lead the way she said with a smile. Praying she was making the right choice.
