To be more than a conqueror Posted on November 13, 2025 at 01:16:10 PM by Nicodemus
His herd was plenty big enough, but it didn't hurt to explore every once in awhile. He could come across someone like Raini who was lost and shaken by her past. Someone like Mizuki who has been broken down since childhood needing relief. He thinks he has provided them with a good, loving, home. That was them to say, but he felt it as he looks at them.
You never know what you may find when you leave yhe comfort of home. As a younger stallion Nico recalls traveling all the time. Now he only seems to do so when something was at stake. Saving Citrus for example. This was the first time in a long while he has actually just wandered away from the Inlet for the fun of it. Curiosity was high as he searches the meadow for something to do.
Once again you never know what you may find.
"Excuse me." A soft voice calls out to him from behind. The calico stallion turns to see an old face from years ago. He remembers a few details about the painted mare, but it has also been some time ago. She continues saying his scent was familiar and she has been following it. Curious indeed. Seems he was not the only one feeling it today.
"Uh, yes I remember you. It has been a long while." He smiles. Nico may not have remembered the mare if it wasnt for the personal story she had told back then. He had dropped hints of where he lived hoping she would could seek him out. "I am afraid your name is a bit foggy, but I do recall you telling me a story about your homeland on our meeting. It was actually somewhere around this very area that we met. I think."
After everything that has happened since then it was hard to recall. Heck, he thinks they may have met way back when he was still living in the Cove. "Oya or something like that." He did remember it starts with an O. Replies: There have been no replies.
