LUCIFER stallion | 18hhs | black | Faithless Demon
Was there anything she could do to help? Lucifer was not sure he had an answer to her question, but the red eyed brute just shrugged his shoulders as his answer. Teagan was still newer to the Dunes, a resident he should not be making deal with his issues. However, the stallion was oddly enough thankful to see her here. He had lost enough of his members and those he cared for. Once more Chimney was off somewhere that he had no knowledge of and Rieva was still missing like she had been for so long now.
Flicking one ear at her, the onyx hued beast tilted his head just a touch as she stepped forward after her own words. Raising a dark brow, the stallion let out a breath as he watched her frame. He was not used to others coming forward so… strongly. Most acted like Mhidas, fearful and uneasy. It had been a while since he had found another that acted similarly to Chimney and Rieva, which made his reaction a tad surprising.
Stomping one hoof, the brute blew out a breath from his nostrils in a deep sounding snort. It was not an act of anger or aggression, but a simple response to how she came at him. Reaching his head forward though, he offered her his snout before aiming to lip at her cheek, a gentle touch that he rarely showed anyone. Letting his lips skim over her cheek if she allowed it though, Lucifer let his voice gently rumble from his lungs.
“Most run from me, Teagan.” As his sentence met the air, the brute let out another warm breath near enough she might be able to feel it. “Not many wish to stay or build a life with me.” Lucifer was unpredictable at best, but he had been losing his rough touch these past few seasons. He had taken mares, had offspring, and now here he stood. He had once killed his mother, maimed a foal, threw another off a cliff, and he had also tried to kill Nahawi. He had dethroned Helios, picked a fight with Nyimara, and so many more things. Lucifer was all things bad, but instead he had found a few that did not see the bad side of him.
“If you knew the things I have done Teagan… would you still choose to stay?” After the question, the monster pulled his head away and looked her dead in the eye. “Would you still be willing to live here? To grow and be with me?” Lucifer did not know if he could ever fully explain his sins, but he wanted her to know she was choosing a monster, not a husband that would bring her flowers. If Teagan chose to stay, she would have to accept the fact that he was more likely to leave a heart at her feet instead of a diamond.
