The yearn she felt to raise a foal again was so intense. Still, it was not enough to make her approach Helios and ask for another baby. History has taught her well that she would only have a son who would leave her too soon by some means or another. It hadn't been Mhidas's fault at first, but even as Lucifer lost his home her son had never returned.

She had given him everything she had as a mother. She told him stories of her own father, played with him, and loved him so dearly. None of it had ever been enough for any of them. Thranduil had rejected her, Warg had dissapeared without a care or a goodbye, and Mhidas has placed an unhealthy obsession with his once captor. A stallion could rip him her loving embrace and he had grown to like it.

The pretty petitie mare moves across the Desert with her head low. Sad eyes don't leave the sand in front of her hooves as she walks. V�na didn't even try to hid her depression anymore. She used to force herself to smile, but no longer. She only glances up because she heard some movement nearby. What she saw stops her in her tracks.

Green eyes stare at the little filly all alone. She was too young to be alone like this. Her muzzle raises as she calls to the buckskin to come closer. Has she been taught to be weary of strangers? Not that V�na would ever do any harm. She was as gentle as they came. "Where is your mother?" She asks curiously. Maybe her mother had gone to look for something and would be back soon.
