A smile light as a feather lifted the corner of Yaga’s lips. Her eyes danced softly as he spoke on what he had here and what he had been doing. .“I have not yet met Amberlyn myself, but it is good that you have found someone to aid you.” As she thought on the mares name, the Forest lead had a small lightbulb go off. Amberlyn was a mare that Dagda had brought here when he was her sub-lead. The grey mare could only smile a bit brighter, knowing that Dagda’s good heart had brought them a mare that was aiding Hasan in a way the draft mare had never thought of.
Tilting her head a touch, she listened to him speak some more. Hearing that his sight was slightly better, the thickly built mare smiled a bit brighter yet again. She was better at being a mellow mare and listening than she was when he had found her crying. “That is lovely to hear Hasan.” Her happiness for him could be heard in how her voice slightly changed its tone. A leader was only as strong as their herd and even if she had one that could not see, she knew she was strong just by how he was growing and getting to a better place with all of it. From the pained drowned rat she had met to this stallion that spoke to her about what was getting better. Hasan would only continue down a good path she hoped, but life was the only thing that would know what came.
“I am excited to see your progress Hasan.” Her voice was gentle as she hummed faintly afterwards. Her pale eyes looked towards the sky, captured by the slight change in light as the night tried to squeeze into day. “What plans do you have for the day that is coming?” She asked, her eyes back on the black and white stallion, curious of what he plans could be.
