The moon howls while you fall silent in a bed of tears.

BABA YAGA
mare | 17.0hh | grey (blackt) | forest

That conversation had done exactly what Baba Yaga had wanted. After Blizzard walked away with another threat, the draft had returned home. A smile had lined her lips as her dark rimmed ears sat tucked against her mane during the swim. Even now, as she stood in the forest, the muscular woman couldn't get the smile to leave her face. Blizzard had poked a bear seasons ago, but now he had poked at something that was growing entirely too itchy.

Looking towards the beach from where she stood in her home, Yaga let her mind wander. She had only picked up one scent other than Blizzard’s in the Harbor, which made her chuckle quietly. He currently had no one she could really challenge him for, but that would make this game all the more sweet. Whereas her brother couldn't handle waiting, this woman could. A patient game would be played and in time, her chess pieces would be the only ones left on the board.

Shifting her weight, the monochrome lead let her body move from where she had been standing. Her hooves touched the beach and a sigh of contentment escaped her lungs. “Check mate.” She muttered, her head lowering to look at her reflection in the ocean. Time would tell just how many more pieces she would move, but as she stood there watching herself, Yaga could almost swear she saw a reflection of someone from her past in the water. She couldn't name the face, but as she stood there, the woman just stared at the water and then the distance, waiting.
