Thanksgiving w family and familiar places

Sad and real for YOU, Jimbo. We didn't have boomboxes in my generation. We were about transistor radios, riding our bikes to the pool, over to Ranchmart to bowl. In my neighborhood, there were lots of kids. New SM schools. And We're still in touch tho scattered across the country. Our parents are gone tho. I visited mine while I was up there, my wife visited hers. But we ran out of time to see the Plaza lights tho we did spend time in Union Station, all decked out and crowded. Our trip was built around old restaurants we liked, and nephews and neices with spouses we hadn't met, admiring engagement rings and bidding farewell to the last aunt and uncle older than we are.

Sorry you didn't have kids to play with tho, Jim when you were young. We were KC people; I don't think we'll make it to Wichita..we'd spent enough time in the car as it was.
