Idiotic TV personalities on Kansas City television stations today were as happy as they could be, saying that Missouri tax collectors will be hauling in millions of gambling dollars from other states, now that Missouri has legalized sports betting.
I guess I'm raining on their (little) parade when I mention that Missouri is STATE NUMBER FORTY-ONE to legalize state-wide gambling.
When I find time, I'll look and see how many of Missouri's border-states have already legalized gambling. I don't think many of those forty other states will be pushing much of their gambling bucks to Missouri... Replies: There have been no replies.
