The point being made here is why wouldnt you introduce the roster at an opportunity of maximum fan interest. Normally that takes place on opening night.
It doesnt happen so the alternative is chosing the next best opportunity. Why then choose a night knowing that your live audience is going to be cut in half based on competition.
By the way, Saturday night was consumed by the irritating, disrepectful clan of former Basque players - who buy the provide ZERO support to the business. They pay no admission obviously - they add ZERO to the handle. Its just a Cheers bar scene for all of them.
