Re(5): Thinking About Buying A New Car?

And you never figured out that when you end a threat, it stays ended. After you paste your nonsense, everyone just moves on. Been goin on for years. Like your career of commercials, they just dissapate into the atmosphere and are instantly forgotten. Most people with the radio on in their cars are watching, talking, distracted by life, not coming out of their dashboard speakers. Even radio doesn't want listeners paying attention..which is why they bury them in 20 second clusters before the top of the hour. Radio's invisible minutes. Even TV does it...getting their paid spots as far away as possible from the content people tune in to hear. I think most people get up and take a piss during those tuneout minutes.

That's why all the big spenders advertise elsewhere. No one pays attention to continuity writers' words voiced by radio staff announcers. I remember spots on NFL games because creative people write and produce them, and if theyre really memorable, people will assocaite them with the messaging that encourages positive brand reputation. Only companies with deep pockets can get that kind of messages across. Guys writing ad-speak at their kitchen tables, not so much.
