This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Silent Night? It could have been. Holy Night? It should have been.

The Fusiliers were "In Location"�L7 was the zone, Far from the Barracks, but feeling at home. From Alt Street to Upper Parly, the "Recce" was tight, With Smithdown Lane falling to our thirst on that night.

We weren't in the drunk tank (at least not just yet), The best Christmas Eve that a squaddy could get! Back to the terrace house, the party was swinging, Until a bold Civvy ruined the singing. He launched with The Sash, a tactical blunder, I countered with Faith of Our Fathers like thunder!

The Civvy went firm, and he launched an attack, But I had the Iron Dome watching my back. The intercept worked�a defensive perfection, While my lady friend offered a bit of protection. She didn't need rifles, or grenades, or a shuttle, She neutralised the target... with a heavy coal scuttle.

Silent Night, Holy Night, The Civvy went down, and we put out the light. The terrace is gone now, the streets have all changed, But we�re still the same Fusiliers�slightly deranged.
