“It's because I'm still in training.” Came a feminine voice as the red dun daughter of Lucifer pushed herself forward. The onyx beast let out a deep breath, but kept himself standing steady upon his hooves even if his flanks trembled with a touch of frustration. He had been trying to protect his only daughter, but it obviously didn't work as the dusty hued mare dipped her head towards Marceline in a greeting.
Letting out a deep breath, the onyx brute shifted his weight as he bit the back of his tongue. “Nyimara is going to be the major setback.” Lucifer spoke as Tefnut hissed the silver haired woman's name. The desert queen hadn't been bad to Tefnut, but she also hadn't really taught the young woman anything and once again it had fallen onto Lucifer’s shoulders. However, the demon knew that to mold someone to be in your image, you had to be present for it. Tefnut was still softer deep down that the Dunes lead, but in time it could either be her downfall or reason for being someone to fear.
Shaking his head, Lucifer licked his lips as the Salem winds softly pulled themselves through his hair. He had to take a moment to think more, but his unknown internal emotions faintly showed as he nodded his bulky head at his daughter. He was curious if Marceline might gather just who this maidens actual father was and if she would bring it up. Anyone that had met Nahawi just once would see a female carbon copy if they actually had a semblance of thought.
“I'm not worried about the new Badlands Queen for the time being.” He spoke slowly, his words managing to push through his lungs. “She is the next step you're going to make if I had to reckon.” Raising a black brow, the stallion tilted his head as his daughter stepped to stand right at his side, her shoulder touching his. Together, both horses dipped their heads. “But the Dunes will be a sword for you to wield as you need in this endeavor.”
