Maybe I should tweak my simulation to give a selected post with an outclassed player 2 initial points in order to see how much it helps. Obviously more beneficial in Spec 7 games.

Of course this is a silly twist on your words, but for the record, win-wise, 2 points has the same value as just 1. But since the cellar dwellers are scrambling for P & S boleto, there ya go.
