Memories Can Be So Fleeting

Teagan couldn’t help but smirk yes, it does depend your interpretation of a prison she said, flipping the mares own words back on her. Honestly with her lack of memory she didn’t know if this was normal behaviour for her but she was secretly enjoying the back and forth banter.

She hummed, rolling her eyes at the clipped wings remark. She didn’t agree with the mare, infact she had felt the opposite, the black stallion had set her free from something, she felt it in her entire being, she just couldn’t remember what that something was, but it wasn’t worth trying to explain that to this mare. It was a twisted, complicated mess of broken memories.

She couldn’t help but laugh at what the mare said next though fanciful ideas hey? My my, do you think he sweet talked me with pretty words and promises? she said with a smirk. If she truly thought that, she must not know him that well. Yer he didn’t. In fact he tried to warn me away, told me who he is and what he’s done she studied the mare, wanting to see any reaction to her words.
We all have a past Nyimara, we all do thing that in that moment seen the better course of action her tone had sobered from the snarky almost playful lite it had previously had I have my values, which he meets. If that changes in the future I’ll act according to my values, no one elses.

She was silent for a few minutes before rolling her eyes at the blinkers comment. Nyimara could say what she wished, it wouldn’t change anything for Teagan. She just hoped she could make it back home before her foal arrived.
Her ears perked as she watched the mare take a few more steps, Teagan held back for a few moments, her gaze assessing before following after the mare humm, are you offering to tell me your secrets then? She asked, slipping back into the easy banter they had been having before Teagan had sobered.

Against her better judgement she found herself enjoying this back and forth with Nyimara, if they had met under different circumstances they may have have even become good friends.
