I was at the partido. I thought it was going to be 15-5. I was close. At one point Johan was down 3-2, though no one was seriously worried that it meant anything.

As to your question of how many times it would take for Johan to lose, I can't even think of a number.

I will say this though. Txanikia played well. I think they could have scored more points if Kapandegi did not call him off on so many serves. I was astonished that Txanikia actually deferred to him so much, especially after several easy drops.

If there ever was to be an upset, it would have mirror Urritia-Mandiola in the first year of the tournament. Urritia was totally dominant and took over the partido, and that catapulted them to the championship.
