The moon howls while you fall silent in a bed of tears. Posted on January 5, 2026 at 10:50:45 PM by Baba Yaga
Moving sturdy legs forward, Yaga watched as the crimson body of her daughter bobbed through the waves and off towards the crossing. Her golden eyes glisten with tears as she turns back towards the densest part of her home. She had watched her daughter break under the truth of what had happened. No foal had caught in her vibrant daughter's womb, causing a false pregnancy to take hold of Titan. The chestnut maiden had been excited at the end to birth a foal from Caine, but now that wasn't something she could have this season.
Turning away from the ocean entirely, Baba Yaga let out a shaking breath before she vanished back into the darkness of her home. Spring was most certainly here. The snow was starting to melt and trees were starting to heave leaf buds on their branches. She could feel the warmer rays of sun, but inside her heart broke just a little. With all the vibrant life coming out to play in this gorgeous territory, her daughter faced the worst of fates at her age and fled. It broke Baba Yaga’s heart, but she didn't chase after her daughter who vanished to the very place everything had went wrong with Caine.
Slowing her strides, the grey draft mare stopped in a meadow and slowly lowered herself onto the grass. As her stomach grew tickled under the fresh foliage and her body shivered, she fell to her side before grunting and rolling onto her back. Rolling multiple times, Yaga ended her last full body turn over with a deep groan. The itches were scratched, but her eyes closed as she slabbed out in the meadow and enjoyed the warm sunrays.
