Thanks Jeff (and decay) for taking the challenge seriously. Some interesting info came back, including max wager amount.

For me - someone who love puzzles and challenges, this seems like a very rare opportunity to work out the underlying reality of partido probs and betting limits.

I see a cool parallel. Some mathematicians work out a scoring system, Spec 7, with no intent to create a monstrosity, and yet 678, 687, and 587 emerge from nowhere, with their insanely low hit rates. Benny created a tournament format that is very nice, but opens the door a crack for an extreme round 1 mismatch which might be the biggest in all of pro jai-alai history.

But the betting system says that the wager guarantees you a 5% return, no matter what.
