Back in the 70's when the Republican convention was in KC, other area radio news folk were on hand to cover the event. Noel Heckerson, Charles Gray and others chose to be on site and report from the convention. You chose to rip and read from the studio across the street. Too bad you couldn't make the effort not to just be a rip and reader.
