Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

TITAN
mare | 17.0hh |grey (chestnut)| peak

Her body wanted to betray her. She wanted to fall into his embrace, to feel his warmth upon her fur. She wanted to meet him half way and not make him come to her. So many feelings curled inside of her gut that Titan wanted to puke. If she could, the greying chestnut would have done so. All she could do was close her eyes again, lock away the tears, and hide the sniffle that wanted to escape her nostrils. It wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but the Forest bred mare barely contained her wants when two simple words filled the air from a third body.

Opening her pale eyes, Titan watched as a sister of this place came from the darkness. Her sadness gave just enough to feel something else, but Titan wasn't able to place a name. Turning back to Caine, Titan choked faintly when she saw what flashed in his eyes. She didn't know what it was, but she caught just enough of it to feel her stomach curl in on itself. She hated it, hated this, but would come to accept it. Choking on a sob that wanted to escape, she watched as Caine began to leave. Her long tail snapped against her hocks, hoping to erase the pain she felt.

Shaking her head, Titan waited for Caine to leave before everything just tumbled out. Stumbling forward, the red mare fell to her knees before her back half followed. Hitting the ground with a thud and the sound of a breaking heart, Titan hurried her face against her knees. “I'm sorry.” She croaked to the other Peak mare. She felt horrible, but was thankful someone else arrived to drag her out of whatever that was. “Thank you.” She rasped, her frame curling in on itself, leaving room for whoever the mare was to leave or step forward to ask whatever questions there could be. It wasn't like Titan had fallen for Caine before the Lagoon or anything… right?
