Tino follow her to a shelter oasis, it was a stunning picture he thought, his home was nice but it did spend most of its time with now and ice on it. His thick coat that protected him from the worse of that weather wasn’t so much needed here, not that he could do much about that of course. Lowering his head to drink his ears listened to any movement. He was well aware that if the mare chose to revoke her help he’d been little match for her, he just hope she wouldn’t do that considering how much she had already helped him.
With his thirst taken care of he followed her to a more sheltered spot and stood beside her, he was tired still from having fought the current but he could rest later. He listened to her words about not know where the path leads, or least that’s how he understood her words. It did make sense, Tino only had to think of how he and his mother had ended up here, then taken in by Nico and how that had shaped both their lives into what they were now. His was still flowing though, calling to him… from somewhere, he just hadn’t worked out where yet.
I understand, I just haven’t found where I fit yet, I mean I love my family of course but I’m not sure I see the future I want there he said, his mind still conflicted. His mother was where she needed to be and Nico had helped the young stallion grow from an unruly colt to the stallion he was now. I guess I’ve never really left home to explore before, always wanting to help my mother but I’ve realised she doesn’t need my help his eyes drifted off, staring off into space I need to start living my own life, whatever and wherever that actually is, I’m not sure his gaze drifted back to her’s briefly before drifting back to the swaying palm tree’s being battered by the storm.
