I will say that, in general, you are giving the roster too much credit for intelligence. Sure there are certain players, on this roster, whom you can tell are setting up a point to win. That have a purpose for every throw they make. Trying to move their opponent or throw it at their feet. But more times than not, I see a player who just throws the ball WITHOUT a purpose. His objective is to just keep the point going, hoping that his opponent isnt going to catch a ball thrown right at him. It doesnt happen.

Youth may be a reason for this but you can also be intelligent at a young age too. That why, as a fan...and a former player...its entertaining to see a player with natural ability and game smarts. Is Celaya really thinking about Bicente when he overserves for the 3rd straight time? Or is he just going thru the motions?

In general, you are giving the roster too much credit for intelligence. You, as someone who has that, Im confident you are sharing what you know to see the best overall play as possible.
