Re(1): Retro still not sent to deferred comp Posted on January 19, 2026 at 19:46:10 by 4th DR day trader.
Ah this board during election time never disappoints! Im on here once a year to catch up on the 10 guys posting for the last 15 years; 6 of them from Ft Meyers.
I day-trade for last 4 years. My take:
Local 2 has very limited reach on the retro screw up for 800 of our members. They filed a grievance the day before deposits went into checking accts. The other 3300 deposits all went smoothly, for all us that needed the money.
Sorry to the 800 that didnt need the $20k+...if you dont need the money and can afford to park it in DefComp, congrats! The SEC rules will make you whole, even from lost interest, but it may take 6 months. You wont lose out on anything; not a dime. You are dumb to think there isnt rules & laws supporting your case...the investment industries is one of the most regulated and watched sectors out there. If your really worried, go hire a tax ATTORNY (you dont need a CPA). Most, if not all, falls outside our CBA anyway. Replies:
