Drama Weather

I can’t wait for the local news to send out reporters to stand next to big piles of salt and then spend 2:30 on a piece narrating a half-empty bread aisle.

And then they all stick a random reporter in the street to look serious, nod three times, be like “THAT’S RIGHT MARCIA, OFFICIALS ARE OFFICIALLY WARNING DRIVERS THAT ROAD CONDITIONS COULD BE BAD.”

Pro tip for producers: just give the meteorologist the extra time. Add value. Not fluff. Viewers don’t need a pile of salt.
