I wanted to add one more thing, lucky. I never thought I was an alcoholic. I just liked drinking when my wife was working and the kids were grown and gone.
All I notice is that I"m watching old movies and the first time I saw em, I forgot how they ended, so guess I was just too drunk to remember em.
I think once I took Naltrexone, it was easy to quit for good. I don't 'hang on' like you are...the only times I think about drinking is when I'm picking up carry out at a restaurant with a bar and see the bottles lined up, and of course when Jim tries to get into my head.
