Japan has exactly what the NatCons claim to want for the US: restrictive immigration laws to ensure that the country remains racially and ethnically homogenous. What they have in result is an aging population and a disastrous balance sheet for their government because they don't have a tax base to pay for those retirees, not to mention not enough workers to grow the economy. Let's not be like Japan, eh?
