I had a close work friend and he missed time like this. In fact twice. He takes an SSRI. Each time it, for some reason, failed to work. I suppose you build up some kind of tolerence. It take quite a bit of time to adjust to new levels. For him it was a month+.*. You boss has a good friend in you.*
