Lucifer of the Dunes
And my dice aren't weighted.
The amused chuckle had the demon grinning just a tad bigger. His eyes danced, but he cocked one hoof and rested completely at ease. He was only being polite thanks to the darkness inside of him being mellow, but it was a nice change of pace. Tilting his head to the right though, he eyed her when her name came. He knew the way it translated, making her a daughter of someone he had never met. Knowing his luck, he had washed up in the islands after this Ironclad croaked.
Slowly twitching his tail against his hocks, the black stallion slowly shook his head. “I was roaming when the storm came.” He replied, his deep voice rumbling along with a quieter boom of thunder. He didn't elaborate for a moment though on what he was roaming for, letting his thoughts trickle into an actual sentence before his large shoulders rolled slightly, easing the pain in the one that began to start aching when he was standing still.
“I'm searching for herd members.” Lucifer finally said, his frame shifting just a touch to make himself a bit broader. It wasn't on purpose, but he was leveling out the weight all across himself to ease the tension on his front end. “I would like to bring you back with me.” He was giving her an option, but he had a feeling both knew he wouldn't just let her walk away without coming to the Dunes at least once. “I am a lead in the Dunes. If you're willing, I'd be glad to show you a summer thunderstorm there if you'll give it a chance?” It was odd to be like this, but there was no uneasy colt trying to bribe a mare. He was old enough to have self confidence. He was just being more mellow than what some of the islands knew him to be.
