Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I wasn’t always a monster. (Khyber)

Rutger
Not until life chose my path.

A choice had been made that day in the Hills. Rutger had waited a while, but once again the greying stallion found himself slowly changing the trajectory of his life. Khyber wasn't the best stallion to make friends with, but right now Rutger was out of options. The choice made his heart thrum in his chest and his pulse to race near his ears. The tempo only got worse the moment he left the Hills without giving Marceline a good bye. He might return and thank her, but now he had to do something for himself, even if his father was in mind in the process.

Pulling himself onto the more ocean side of the Lagoon, Rutger stood in knee deep water. His green eyes held trepidation and his ears slowly lowered until they tangled in the thick mess of his mane. It had been a long time since he set foot here, but he returned. He wasn't here for the games of this place though. Rutger would do his part if they allowed him, but no one was going to push the stronger than ever stallion around this time.

Waiting patiently, Rutger listened and sniffed the air before he made a move. Giving a very low call, he summoned Khyber. If the painted man wanted to claim Rutger, he would have two hours from the moment Rutger’s voice started. No longer was the greying son of Tyr letting someone else rule him. He might have to listen to the one rule he knew was in place here considering the boss, but other than that it didn't matter. For now… Rutger was going to start doing things different.
