Carthage turns to look at them with a half smile. It was obvious he was glad to see her, but something still bothers him. She now knows he was not at all worried about her well being, but of someone else. He was a herd stallion so it would make sense that he gather mares and grow connections with more than just her. He finally tells her the issue he was having. The Lagoon has taken a mare from him. "I have fought with the Lagoon myself back when I owned the Inlet. They tried stealing from me and had succeeded at taking my daughter once." The Lagoon had always been an enemy to watch for. They had been one of the first worries she gave to Nicodemus. Oh! She had an idea.
"Why dont you let me reason with the Lagoon?" Her head tilts slightly to the side curiously before straighening back. "We can make a deal of it?" Oh, Parvati you dog. "If I can get this Clio back then maybe you appoint me your Queen?" Her tail flips behind her with unblinking eye contact on that stallion.
