Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Rutger
Not until life chose my path.

Rule one of new mothers. 'Don't get too close.’

With that rule in mind, Rutger kept himself away from the new mother and her foal. He stayed away from the trio entirely. He had scented them on the wind and was curious, but never once did he creep closer. Instead, the greying stallion of red hues found himself hanging back in the shadows. His ears constantly swiveled, listening for brothers and other dangers. He wasn't entirely sure what had tipped him off to start with, but suddenly the thick built stallion had his ears shoved forward and eyes landing on where the foal had been born.

With one foot in front of the other, Rutger walked steadily. The closer he got, the more he felt something churn in his gut. When the scent of a stallion not of this land entered his nostrils, the heavy set stallion pinned his ears and let out a blast of air. Inhaling again, Rutger drew in the scent of Tinuvel, which had him pushing through the foliage with ears pinned, head snaked, and teeth bared.

“Empty promises get you nowhere.” Came his deep voice. Rutgers frame slipped through the undergrowth of the swamp and stood at Warwick's back with his emerald eyes on the mare and foal. He had to hide the protective instinct that flooded him with new life before him, but he managed to do so as his attention swiveled over to the pony mutt. “Leave. Make it your choice or we can handle this my way. Tick, tock.”
