i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors

Somehow she had been able to convince mother to let her continue exploring Luthein. It was not like her to allow such a thing, but I guess nostalgia had been high seeing family again. It had felt great to meet her extended family in the forest. They seemed nice and her world felt a bit bigger knowing the existed outside of the Arch herd.

She had always known her mother came from another island, but she hardly ever talked about them. It didn't make sense because they all seemed so happy to see one another, but she didn't question it. Especially when she agreed to allow her now 2 year old to stay behind.

Lileas wasn't sure if she would stick around the forest with her newly met family or extend her search elsewhere. It seems you could make a family anywhere, but she felt some kind of pull to Luthien. This is why she now explores the island to learn every inch of it.

This bring the painted seal bay mare to the Prairie. She has only just entered the land when she stops to take in the difference. Fields of golden brown as far as the eye could see. Where the forest held shadows this place was open and seemingly friendly. Unless something was hiding in that tall grass.
