Long time retired single role fireman here. While on the job I never hated on medics or anyone else unless they were a load. I also never considered a guy a good fireman just because he made a delicious pot of soup, but that’s another story. Regarding the union, I always participated and voted for who I thought was best for the active members at the time. Just remember that you active members now will become retired members someday, and what your reps do now can affect you when you leave the job. Choose wisely and VOTE. I’m still a union member to this day but will be sitting out the vote since I really don’t know any of the guys running and it really doesn’t affect me. Good luck. Replies:
