By including those partido win points, which EVERYONE had, it camouflages the fact that this was a brutal round. At least for 6 of us. 3 people had zero points after 5 rounds.
I was fortunate that my gamble on the talented but erratic Garcia paid off in the first game. Because I had 6 games in common with you it turned out that even a lousy show finish in game 4 from post 3 Txanika-Atain would have been enough to lock in the win. They reached game point but still managed to finish off the board. That meant that it would come down to game 9. If a red hot (all night) Olharan could win from post 2, while Johan would be shut out, then you win on tiebreak due to earlier posting. And sure enough Johan was in a position to be blanked in the first 2 rounds. So a couple of shots going Olharan's way in that game flips the result. Much closer than 21-11.
Meanwhile, at least decay and Jailife16 have shown that they are vulnerable on their worst day. But Bptjai88 has outscored me in every round. Gotta respect that.
