That saying may not be the best match for jai-alai. LOL
But I think there may have been an element of fatigue or at least a slight fall off. Aritz and Lopez were invulnerable in the first set. No way to attack them, other than a few occasional front court kills. But I think that even though Johan and Gorka were blown off the court in that first set, they played a lot of long and hard fought points. Which may have taken a toll. So maybe that paid off some later on when some unforced errors started creeping in.
