Man that would pay out a lot.
We have to consider that the payout is limited by what's in the pool.
So $3,000 less 25% takeout gives you $2,250 maximum.
If 6-7-8 has a base probability of 1 in 108,943 that works out to an ROI of -99%. Best "strategy" would be to get in for 50 cents instead of $2, and hope to take the entire pool. Still a long-term ROI disaster.
