Inlet

Saraswati had been found safe, but he was surprised to learn she had a baby at her side. He had asked Devi if Sara was coming back home, but she didn't seem to know the answer. Seems Sara had found a new place she was enjoying to which he could only assume the said stallion of that new place was the father. If she was happy he would be too though Devi still seems to worry over her blind daughter.

Nico has assured her it would all be fine before she departed back to the Thicket. A part of him would have liked all of his family members to stay in the Inlet, but that just wasn't feasible. His family was bound to scatter across the islands and even further. Just as he hoped Panda and their daughters were out there living happily somewhere safe.

Now, months later, Fall was just beginning to take hold over the islands. He wasn't sure he would have any children in the coming year, but he did hope to see a foal or two still running around from others. Ashitaka maybe, or even Augustus. It has been a long time since his living eldest had a child at his side. His twins were now grown and ready to set off on their own adventures. Yet another departure he worries about.

The sun is high in the sky shinning over the Inlet as Nicodemus watches over some of his herd grazing. As always this was just where he wanted to be. There may be a few missing, but he was happy with his home.
