Txanika was already showing promise and pretty good when he started in Dania back in Dec 2023. His posture is excellent, but his lack of speed and athleticism costs him points too often to be considered in the highest tier. He’s had some recent trouble lifting his reverse as well. Last season, he was excellent in his singles group but was below average in doubles. I do know he was good over this past recent month of the 25-26 season to make up for a slow start, and I think his balance was better this season, being more effective in doubles than in the past. Regardless , he’s been pretty good for years, isn’t most improved , and isn’t knocking on the top tier of players. I do, however, appreciate his game, and think he has good upside at his age.
