Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I wasn't always a monster.

Again Rutger listened. His ears twitched as he took in everything that Khyber had to say. It was as if he was only taking everything in and not actually thinking about it. However, the roaning male thought quite clearly and understanded every part of what was being said. It took him only a single moment to grin, his canine teeth becoming bared in the demonic slice of smile he gave Khyber.

“Instead of trying to voice the people, voice yourself.” Rutger spoke, his head rolling to the side and causing a pop to be heard from his neck. “Think about it. Look at the ranks here. If half of them were to actually work for what they had, it would not be so daunting. You're strong Khyber. Thanks to you I am here, which saves you from the criteria, no?” Blinking his green eye, the draft built male held onto his tongue for a moment. He could be considered insane, but he wasnt entirely stupid.

“Taking the freedom to be lazy and getting no repercussions should have been done ages ago. Even from your own mouth, stallions did not listen to Garmr’s decree. They won't listen to mine either. It is up to me to hold everyone to that.” Licking his lips, Rutger was forced to take in a deep breath. “And maybe more lagoon blood roaming the islands is a good thing. Think about it… Stallions come here every season and fight us. Mares the same.” It was a fool's errand ninety-five percent of the time that anyone fought the lagoon, but still.

“Do as you wish, Khyber. Everyone can leave or stay. I was called to soft by one of our brothers and now that I am being a hard ass I am the problem yet again. Forcing people to fight for what they want builds a stronger constitution. It makes the spoils you win even sweeter. If you want the decree changed, give me a better idea.” With that, Rutger tilted his head towards Khyber. “Garmr’s did not work and obviously mine isn't to your fancy. Got something better? Tell me now and I can change it.”
