Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Painted Demon

Tattoo had indeed be keeping a eye on the young filly. Could he have comforted her when she missed her mother? Sure, he could have. Did he? No. He was letting the youngster stew, it served his own purpose but she wouldn’t know that. He watched as she left the little hide he’d originally led her and her mother too over a year ago. Poor little flower was crush to hear her mother had left without her, however he was pleased she was starting to trust him, now he just had to keep that trust.

He’d follow her to the beach, waiting with somewhat of an interest to see if she’d tried to make a run for freedom, ready to chase her down if needed. When he’d notice her nervousness over movement in his general direction he’d quickly shifted to go to her other side, silently stealthy as he moved before walking out of the tree cover on the side she wasn’t focused on. If it worked it all fed into his plan. When he was several feet from her he spoken font color=red>what’s wrong little flower?
he said casually, using the nickname he’d recently started to call her.

On the inside he was grinning, but he held the perfect mask of slight concern on his face as he step up beside her, seemly ignoring her personal space in favour of checking on her would, using the motion of sniffing the wound to see just how much he could push that boundary. He was there and gone in moments, his eyes meeting hers font color=red>good, the salt water seems to have prevented any kind of infection from taking hold he said, very matter of fact like. This wasn’t the first time they been here together, Tattoo had been instructing her to bath the wound regularly to prevent infection. Technically that was true as the filly being ill and possibly dying didn’t really serve his purpose.

Standing closer than he probably should he still showed an interest in caring for the filly, he was playing the long game with her, he knew that and that would require her to still be here of course.. or consider him one of the good guys enough to agree to meet up if she ended up leaving the lagoon.
