Did you see the play he was referring to?

I did not, as I do not watch a whole lot of MC, but my guess is he is playing the "long" game, since this is team based, and the effects of a "bad call" not only affects him, but other members of his team, as they try to advance through a whole season. Put a bug in the refs ear. It probably does not work, but worth a shot I guess.

A player in a quinella game gets a bad call, then oh well. That only costs him once. Plus, they are not being interviewed after every game.
